Heavy jerk during normal driving (Auto)

I notice that when I cruise at low speeds I would get some heavy jerks when a gear will shift, it'll feel like I got hit by another car. The last time I took it to the service department they said they did a tune to the TRANS-AM still feels like nothing was done. I also notice the RPM needle would be hovering around 2000 before dropping and it'll feel like its in advanced shifting mode but even through I did a light push on the gas.

Really frustrating to be having issues like this jerk, shudder, and delay starting during warm start and service department is calming they cant duplicate this issue

The harsh 1-2 shift when it's cold is very common. Even after the latest fluid and flush procedure mine still does this

Mine occasionally slam shifts into lower gears too. It got an early fluid flush. I tried to get the latest flush but was denied (before it became “on request”). They did replaced the valve body and it helped for a while but it eventually came back. I’m not sure what my next step will be.

OP is in florida. His "cold" fluid is probably over 60 degrees.
OP mentioned rpm's but not vehicle speed. Difficult to guess which shift (or shifts) are coming on hard.
I have a manual. Does the auto have a display mode that shows you actual gear for tranny?

A shift "like he was hit by another car" sounds abnormal.

Well mine will still do it regardless of the outside temperature but I've found that I can avoid it by easing off the throttle during that shift. If I just roll onto the throttle like normal that 1-2 shift does feel very harsh. It most definitely is very abnormal. It does have the gear number display but only in manual mode and when using the paddles.

I also had this issue for my first year of ownership. Generally would happen between gears 1-3 it would buck/jerk no matter the temp of the vehicle even after having a flush from the dealership.

I recently went and had e85 along with headers installed so along with the tune for that I had them tune the transmission. I haven't had it happen since. It's been about 2 months and 1500+ miles as a daily driver. The gentleman that tuned my vehicle said it had something to do with the way the ECM acts from the factory. I don't know how true that is. I've spoken to two other 6th gen owners who have been tuned by the same company, and they have had the same outcome as me. I've also noticed the car doesn't go into V4 mode anymore which makes the ride a lot smoother. I recommend checking into getting a transmission tune.
