I've done a little in my Z, just mainly for accent. Air vents, the silver trim on the steering wheel, shifter trim(around the shifter), start button and where the power window switches are. I think it looks just right. Too much looks trashy in my opinion. A little goes a long way and more is DEFINITELY not more when it comes to adding carbon fiber interior trim. Just my .02..I'm also on the "you do you" bandwagon. Whatever YOU like...go for it!

I've been waiting over a year to get some carbon fiber in my car, but they are ALWAYS backordered >.< It's so frustrating waiting on pieces as I don't want to mix and match brands because the weaves are different. Maybe someday they'll get back in stock. Good example is the lighted door v's, can't think of the name. Along with he center console one

A tricky part of the install is that the backing tape is the strongest and stickiest I've ever used for a car interior: after applying the included adhesion promoter, if the backside as much as touches the dash, it starts sticking, hard. This means one has to place these carbon fiber parts with extreme precision, it's almost impossible to correct placement once you pushed any section down. Another case where having 8 hands would come in handy

The weave used on that panel and carbonaddons accessories is a very-very close match, it's pretty hard to tell they aren't all OEM (I mean their "standard", not the "forged" carbon fiber look) .

Yes, and it's a tough job even that way, with the tiny slivers and corners fighting my chunky fingers
