Agree. I'm not sure how they are going to try and implement the 2019 Sierra style grille on the canyon with the 2014 Sierra style headlamps. We'll see. I hope it looks good.
Colorado could look better with a slightly more aggressive looking bumper. I remember seeing early sketches of the Colorado with the same lamps and similar styling, just a bit bolder and it looked good. What we ended up with was a softer look in the end. I believe the better performing mid size trucks will come in the next gens. V8s?? Doubtful, but I can dream. (Maybe the midsize RAM in an SRT or something) but i do think twin turbo V6s will be in certain trims. Leaked reports already saying the new Ranger will be using the 2.7 Ecoboost which would be sweet with it's 400ft lb torque. I'm guessing this will only be available in the Raptor and maybe an RST if they make one. I'm really hoping GM follows suit.

Here’s What’s New For The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado ..... Inside, the leather-appointed Jet Black/Dark Ash interior color combination has been deleted from the lineup. In addition, the Chevrolet Infotainment Premium system with Navigation (IOT) is replaced with the Chevrolet Infotainment Plus system with Navigation (IOU). Lastly, LT models now require the Luxury Package and Crew Cab body style in order to be appointed with the Jet Black leather interior. ..... Is there a huge difference between those two Infotainment systems? |

I was curious on the difference, and i'm still confused:
IOU CHEVROLET INFOTAINMENT 3 PLUS WITH NAVIGATION 8-inch diagonal touch-screen, IOS features plus embedded Navigation, available Connected Navigation IOT CHEVROLET INFOTAINMENT 3 PREMIUM WITH NAVIGATION 8-inch diagonal touch-screen, IOU features plus embedded Navigation, available Connected Navigation and additional memory They replaced the deck with one that has less memory? So a downgrade?

I drove a Z71 Colorado. Wasn't SUPER impressed. Then I drove the ZR2. Couldn't go back. Definitely don't need everything it comes with, but wow is the ZR2 a no-brainer for the extras you get with it. Multimatic shocks are worth the price alone. Plus you get better skidplates, control arms, electronic locking rear AND front differential? Yeah. VERY happy to have one in my garage.
If you're serious, PM me. I got no problem helping someone out.

I drive a 18 Z71 Colorado. It's a great truck. Hopefully the next generation will be designed for the North American market and be able to fit bigger tires.

It come with the upgraded infortainment unit, floor liners, wheel locks. I am having them switch out the rock guards with the GM black nerf bars. I am also having them upgrade the leather seats with some custom black leather. They had a Blazer done and it looked amazing, even upgraded the padding in it. They will warranty that with the same 3/36k. I was happy with the deal. I want to thank every one here that has helped me with questions, guidance and anything else. I greatly appreciate this forum and the great people that contribute to it daily. |

We did. We finally got ahold of my wifes uncle, retired from GM. He is living the high life on the golf course now, but was glad to help out with a discount. Plus the dealer gave us same discounts on all the additional pieces I wanted added on including installation. The salesperson was working hard, as they knew I was extremely well versed in what I wanted, cost both Retail and Invoice, blah blah blah. I got a 2.8% finance rate with my excellent credit.
It all boiled down too, I know what I want, what it cost and can you meet me there. Because you can sell me the one on the lot, or I can go to a Chevy dealer 3 miles from my house and order one. They understood and were very helpful. Matter of fact, I got an email from them last night after I left, so I replied with a couple more questions this morning at 7am. Damn if they didn't reply with answers and said they would be in at 9a to get me more information. Now that is good communication. And to add to this, I was in communication with another dealer via email on another truck, Kenetic Blue that was like my third choice. they would not even work with me. get this... told me that "..I need to come in, so a Sales Specialist can decide what is best for me and my family". I was like, oh, let me respond to this and let them know that won't be happening. Once I get it, I will post some pics out here. I'm excited. |
