Floor Jack Position
I watched Lethal's vid on jacking up the car and using the pinch welds and hockey pucks etc.
What I would like to know is, has anyone used the front jack position he showed in his vid? It's in the center front somewhere...I haven't had my car on a lift yet, so I'm not sure what to look for. The rear looked pretty obvious to see, but the front not so easy to see.

The rocker panels have two cutouts in the front, the one closer to the wheel is for the jack or lift pad, and as far as I know, the other one right behind it is for the jack stand:

I can't jack mine from the front even if there is a spot to do so, even with a lopro racing jack there's no handle travel to be had, so I always jack one side at a time as shown about. Though I've not found any need for pinch welds and pucks or a jacking rail.

Well, you'll know when you've used the wrong spot because your fender will flare out from the door body down by the sharp angle portion near the bottom of the fender.
if you see a gap when looking from rear to front alongside the car, it's been jacked/lifted wrong. Using the pinch welds in the correct areas mentioned in the pictures above is a good way to avoid that. |

You can use the middle position behind 1 to lift the side of the car with a floor jack to get the front and rear wheels off the ground, then put jack stands in position 1 and 2. Make sure you use the correct size pucks or lift pads etc with the jack and stands

Just added mine a few weeks ago, Use a little loc-tite to help the screws hold. Very Easy add.
