Deposit placed on a 2024 "Heritage Edition" Convertible

My plan was always to order and buy 2 Camaro Convertibles before the stopped production of my favorite car. I absolutely love my 2023. I think it would be awesome to have another special edition (the 2002 was super cool). My dealer is great and I think they can get me one if GM really does make it. I placed a deposit on the "Heritage Edition" list with them this week (fully refundable of course). Wish me luck! My choice will be a Convertible LT1 Manual. I hope it's yellow.

Where have you seen confirmation that there is actually going to be a Heritage Edition? I thought it was still just a rumor. Thanks!

Amazing how a dealer can take an order on something that doesn't even exist yet...

Its key to get those limited production vehicles.

I know people who have placed deposit for a vehicle even a year before the official announcements came in. Key is to know whats coming and also develop a good relationship with the dealer.

Yes, it is a rumor but I want one if it comes true.
The schedule said TBD for 2024 Camaro, but as of sometime last week there is a start date for 2024 production in late August 2023. I forget the day. I think 2023 production stops on 8/3?
My dealer will be able to get me whatever special edition they might have, and them holding my $500 to be first on the list is cool. I will get a regular 2024 convertible if there is no special edition, no big deal. Refundable anyway...
All the other dealers will put market adjustments and stuff on them, this dealer sells me at GMS with no add-ons... my 2023 Convertible was $37,500 plus tax.

Hey Mike. Doesn't need a price because I don't care what it is because I pay GMS employee price.

Has anyone posted info or prices for 2024 MY yet? Feel like there is usually some info about the upcoming model year sometime in March.

You basically just gave your dealership an interest-free loan for nothing.

There is zero confirmation a "Heritage Edition" Camaro will actually exist. It is purely speculation and clickbait nonsense. Furthermore, there is nothing confirming that 2024 will be the last model year.

If anything, they keep production going through 2027 and end it with an anniversary edition like they've done in years past.

Heritage Edition. Thanks for the laugh.

Don't know about a Heritage edition, but you can bet green money 24 will be the curtain call, at least for an ICE Camaro IMO.

Looks like OP will be paying GMP so he or someone from the family might be a GM employee. Employees know much more information than the general public and most people spend time in forums to gather useful or unknown information from the right sources.
