AAD Performance rear links vs. SPL vs. BMR
Searched, but there is not much regarding AAD suspension components.
I see they are highly regarded on other platforms. I'm curious if anyone has tried them, and how they stack up compared to SPL (my first choice, but $$$$). I want to do this right once, and this seems like a killer deal given the build quality and components used vs BMR links@ at a somewhat similar cost. Will be going on a SS 1LE track-focused car. believe those are more for drag racing and they look nice and beefy but i went with spl parts
first only the toe rod endlinks and i like them so much i ended up doing the whole rest of the kit!

I would, personally, go with the BMR over those, at the price. I'm not too fond of the way in which the adjustment mechanism locks together, in that it is of two flat surfaces clamped together at a plane that is on the axis of tension and compression.
If I think of failure modes, that type of design seems more susceptible to more severe results than of the design with SPL and BMR in a threaded rod with jam-nut. Just my thoughts. Maybe I am missing something with their design details? I am not familiar with the company. |

Almost looks like the Ride Tech Arms that use a shim with a hole in different positions to lengthen or shorten the arm.
