Hi has anyone put 18” wheels on front of a1le

Hi I have a brand new set of R888R from my 2012 GS Vette ( I’m selling)
They are 275/30/18 front and 325/30/19 on rear
I want to try and put these on my 2018 1LE
Any suggestions of fitment
Of course I have to buy rims, I know the ZL1 1LE, has 325s 19” on the rear and 285 19” on front
Thanks

I bought a set of 18s from Tirerack for cold weather tires. TR Motorsport I think. I have General A/S in 275 all around. The wheels need the right offset to work. I would check there for advice.

I would recommend APEX. They have a number of 6gen specific wheels for street and track use. I'm pleased with mine.

The TR Motorsports were inexpensive. I wouldn't term them high performance, they are just for the winter. I was just recommending Tirerack for advice.

Near the bottom there's info on what 18s will fit the SS 1LE.

https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide

I wouldn't buy rims to fit those front tires though.

I have a setup similar as yours but I do have Apex wheels. I have 285/35/19 ET 20 front and 325/30/19 ET43 rear. I have APEX ARC 8 and it’s a direct fit with no spacers or anything. I tried 18s on my car this past track weekend but I don’t know the dimensions but I had a wider tire up front too..315/30/18

Thanks guys, Apex seems to be the solution.

325/19s were a direct fit, that’s a big ass tire! That’s Good news, I did not want to have to sell my R888Rs

You will introduce a huge increase in rake with those Vette sizes, which may make the car much looser on entries.

OTOH, downsizing F tire by 1 and upsizing R by 2 (vs stock) would seem counter productive for a road course even if it may counterbalance the statement above.

Stock OD split F vs R is 0.5 while this will be 2.2, so not sure how various electronics will like it.

Just something to consider, as stock G3 tires are pretty cheap and super track capable.

I agree, I have been listening to advice. I’m going to sell the 275/18s to a friend and buying 285/ 19s
Thank you all for your input

The ZLE uses 305/19 on the front to match the 325s on the back. I'd go with a std ZLE setup instead.
