COMPLETELY AN ASS KICKING MACHINE....AWESOME. Haters gonna hate and winners just smile and still well below what all other comparable vehicles cost, you couldn't ask for more. DAMN.. now I gotta figure out a way to get one

Excellent review. Congrats to the Z/28 design team. GM sure has churned out some AWESOME buckets of bolts lately!

Not so much. But what gets healthy can get sick. The "hood scoops and stripes" culture can return; that is up to the management. I hope they are getting the message by the reception the new Corvette and Z/28 is receiving. |

Wow I didn't think the Camaro had a prayer of knocking off the GTR, what a beast

They all are, of course. None of us really believe any of them. We just play along. Now, back under the bridge with you...

Very cool.
Although I will say when I saw the curb weight comparison, it really hit me how heavy these 5th gens are. The stripped Z/28 only weigh's ~23lbs less than the GT-R, mind you the GT-R has full amenities and is a much more comfortable car. Imagine what a Z/28 on the Alpha platform would be like

It's a amazing that a $75,000 camaro is a bargin shows how much racing technology when into building that car, and I bet the gtr on lap 2 would have been still slower as the brakes fade and heat soak from the turbos set in. And what's more amazing is Johnny's statement that before the z28 the camaro 1le was the best track car he's has ever driven!

Still I'm sad Chevy made this Z28 that late and with this, according to me, horrible design.
I run a 13' 1LE but would have bought without a doubt a 13' Z28. By being that late, Chevy lost some money ...

Not really gonna lose anything because you refuse to buy one. Chevy will sell every Z/28 they make. The only real loser will be you if you don't buy one.....
