Completely agree, and I'm sure that even if I'm not blown away at first the C7 will likely grow on me over time.

But there has been lots of strong evidence that these renderings are prety close to the real deal. Heres to hoping that seeing the real thing in the flesh will be better than what we've seen so far. The details can make a difference, and maybe these renderings are missing some of the small stuff that will make the difference (fingers crossed).

Other than that, I can't wait to see the new interior and I'm sure even the base Corvette will perform better than before.

I like how they are doing the staggered video releases. All of that was announced yesterday.

Yeah they are doing it kind of like they did the ZL1 release, my mind is drooling I cannot wait to see what it looks like

All I can suggest is that you go back and look at the C6 camoed "spy" photos.

Did those excite you even in the least?

I suspect the same is going on here.

My guess is we'll have to wait until 1/13/13........................I know I can't wait.

Not sure about Camaro. The 5th gen, at least.

You know, I can see the business case for changing over to the new engine for the last year or two of 5th Gen Camaro production (inject some excitement in the product plus switching everything over would reduce costs across the board) but at the same time I can see why you would want to save that for the 6th Gen. Neither move would surprise me.
