Did i completely mess up my DIY Halo install [AAC]

I already sent this to aacstyle in a pm, but i thought id get others opinions too.

2010 2LT Camaro RS.

I watched the DIY videos and tried to do it myself. I noticed it was extremely rough and the plastic was barely liquified, but i tried to pry it open anyway.. Eventually I got it, but I'm very worried I completely ruined the housing seal in the process. Here are some pictures:

Thanks.

Yeah, thats why I only did one, I figured if it came out wrong, I'd just buy another.

I plan to re-heat it and shape it up, then drown it in silicone.. But I'm hoping someone whos done this before can stop in and tell me if its hopeless. I've got a bunch of test-tanks at my work to see if its water-proof and nothing can get in..

Never done it before, but i would think as long as you didnt break the front lense you might be good.

the factory seal on one of mine came completely off. I trashed the seal and i just used a ton of silicone and no problem with the housing. i decided to go with my idea of multicolor RS helo instead of using the AAC helos.
