Vette, Volt, SS, Malibu, idc.... ANYTHING but the "toy car" interior. Aside from weight, this is the 2nd biggest issue for me.

That's the old Volt interior.

This is the new one.

I've read that w/ the black key, it's limited to 500hp, but not that it cannot be de-tuned from there. I have also heard the important consideration, that w/ the red key, you can really program different power levels. I doubt it will stop wheel spin, of course. I'm not sure what it can or can't do, but that system is pretty amazing from the looks.

Because for a lot of people with the M6 trans, the cup holders (where they currently are) get in the way of shifting if you have a cup in one of the holders.

For me, in daily driving, it's not a big issue. I actually use the top of my coffee cup as an arm rest and shift using my hand on the top of the shifter.

If I need to do some serious shifting, then I just don't put a cup in the holder at all.

I know there was some dissatisfaction with the current placement. I've only test driven ZL1, so never had a drink in it. But...in front of the shifter seems like the worst place ever!

If you put them in front of the shifter, then you'd have to reach around the shifter.

If you put them on the side on the passenger side, then that cuts into the room for the passenger, plus, that's where the e-brake is.

If you put them on the side, on the drivers side, then you interfere with the leg room for the driver.

You can't lower them at all due to the transmission/drive shaft tunnel.

Put the cupholders off to the side of the shifter with an electronic E-brake. Mission accomplished.

Please, No! I really dislike electronic brakes, my wife's fusion has it and everytime I use it, I'm never really sure it's on until I find the light on the dash, I would much rather pull the e-brake up myself, plus it is useful if I ever want to start drifting. But I understand it would help the "cup holder" problem
