Not a lot of excitement for a CE?

I'm very happy to have my CE order getting produced in September. I think the color is crazy and I'm glad I can get a 3LT with everything, to compliment my base 2023. Yes, I need two convertibles, to last me until I'm dead, since they aren't being made again.... I fell for that in 2002 and had a Z4C SS for while.. lol

Not a lot of talk about them. GM has said they will make as many as are ordered. I have a call into my executive rep to see if he can confirm that.

Anybody else getting a regular CE? The ZL1 CE's will be stored away..

I’m glad that you are excited to get a CE. I don’t care for anything they did with the CE package, but I would buy another ZL1 1LE if they would make them.

What do you mean by not a lot of talk about them? You mean on this forum? What is there to get excited about with the CE... Paint color? It's black and matte black... Not real exciting.

Yeeaah...sorry Adios. Can't really get excited about 15K more(for the ZL1), when it basically looks like the car I already have

, and I got mine for ALOT less than what the CE ZL1's will be. Good for those that get one, but I'm happy to save the 15K.

I find it hard to believe that GM is going to make as many CE's as they have ordered when they don't pick up basic orders.

They are only making 2000 CE's, including the 350 ZL1's

I went to dealer on 6/15 about getting the CE. Then pricing and options came out. MEH rather underwhelming. Next thought was to spec it out with everything 1LE that you could add. That made the price crazy higher and still less of a car than 1LE with risk of not getting due to constraints/allocations. CE to me will be like the Hot Wheels car, those who have them are all about them. For others you can get close enough to the same car for less money or far better packages for performance. But hey, if you're excited about your car that's all that matters. I sold my last one early 2018 and my 24 SS 1LE production date is 8/28 so I'm STOKED!

A simple paint and sticker package doesn't necessarily make it a true collectible thus the lack of excitement. I kinda like the package and might upgrade my '17 RS V6 NPP stick for a like kind CE, but I refuse to over pay for it.

I think GM could have done more, they aren't really going all out for the last year of the car, but if the OP is super happy to get this, then I am happy for him. The car no matter what he pays is going to be rare and if he is going to keep it long term and can afford it, who cares about pricing, it is what it is. I am happy for the OP to get what he loves.

I'm a little surprised you went with another V6 convertible. If you're wanting one to go out with a bang, go with the engine the car was built around. But glad you're happy OP! They're beautiful.

no z28 with the special motor, thats why. The package appears reasonable on regular Camaro's...but with the price increases across the board + high interest rates its a hard pill to swallow to upgrade to a ZL1, at least for me.
