I thought the same thing. Especially with them standing up there filming. It could be real easy to step off while being distracted with what they're talking about.

Latest video is out. Appears they are waiting for fenders like others. Their names should be Bo and Luke cause they seem like decent good ole boys.

They're going to be waiting for fenders for a while !!!

I can't believe GM is dragging its feet supplying fenders for one of it's Halo cars. GM always finds a way to get in its own way.

I might scoop up a left and a right fender to hang on to just in case.

Do we know what they spent yet? I never got a price on what they paid for the car, When they went to the dealer they said they were around 12,500 in parts but had to go back and reorder some other things. If I had to guess I would say they are about 16K in parts now. Especially after the part flew out the back of the truck.

We should have a contest of what the car cost to rebuild.. not counting labor.

36k for car
16k parts
1k in paint and supplies drop cloth, tape, filler, and sanding supplies

I'm gonna say 53k but that seems high so I'm going with 46K

I know last year when I looked for my zl1 a new one with a msrp of 67,325 I got mine for 60k, used with 13k miles was A10 w same MSRP I got down to 56k I went new instead that car sat there and sold for 51,500 if they would of gave me that price 1st I would not of bought new. I did see 1 wreck one that was repaired and one with 53k miles sell for 48K

Not that all that info I added matters It just seems like they are spending more than it's worth.

They paid $31k for it.

I think that was too much if the car was just being fixed and then resold. For them though, it's making their channel money so it's not an issue.

Super impressive paint job, even energizing to do extra work on my car and stay positive about those difficult to tackle parts, heh.

They also fessed up and showed closeups of their mistakes that they so easily could've hidden and fixed up off the record. This channel is like a breath of fresh air.
