I've been on the dyno a few times and down the track over 180 passes. I data log my passes to make changes to the tune. Get out on the street and do some logging also. My tranny is acting up after the new motor build but it also screwed up on my last pass when it pushed the rear seal out. Might need a new tranny or a rebuild, just not sure yet. These A8s are a bitch to tune with big power like yours. Good luck

Yea, we will see. I think the A10 will hold my power honestly. We were thinking of changing the converter out, but we are trying to leave it as stock as possible now to get a time in, then if I want to go after some records, we'll have to really start tearing into this thing. Shoot, I just want the car to run right. haha. It's all good. In due time. In due time. I'm almost too tired to even think about it. Good news is, track rentals are fairly cheap, so I plan on doing a super private track rental here soon b4 the year is out. Just 5 cars. That way, I can have the track to myself and let a few others have some fun along the way.

I think your 60ft times would vastly improve with that big boy blower you have

Well, you would think, but I'm not sure we'll see a 1.3 or 1.4 on stock converter. If we can dial it in, cut a 1.5 60ft, I think I'll hit my goals which is 9.4 at 145. I honestly think we have 150 mph in the car, but only time will tell I guess. It's crazy to know that on the 10.2 run we were at 840 hp tune. There is another 300 hp there that we can go get. Actually, almost 400 hp so. I know we have the power, I mean that's a given. It's going to come down to at what point are we spinning and how much can we put back into the car to where it's not spinning on us. So, knowing what I know now and I'm wet behind the ears, I see we'll need a full day on the track to tune.

The amount of passes you have is nuts. haha. I have 2. Just 2. haha.

You should see some 1.30 60 ft times with the right converter. Maybe 1.40's if you can get the power down early with the procharger with the stock converter. Probably no one on the forum has that many. But I did break the motor at 16 lbs of boost, ring lands just couldn't take anymore. We did Manley Pistons and rods, set the rings up for boost and a cam from Livernois, dod delete, all the good stuff, so hopefully it will live for 300 runs, doubt the rest of the power train can take that, but I'm not changing it till it breaks.
