Page 5 of the PDF shows the male connector and it looks like the one on the SD card reader, Page 2 of the PDF shows the female connector and looks like the one from Amazon

The SD reader that i got last week had a female plug on it.

Based on that image it looks to me anyway that the PDF shows the SD Reader as the male plug see below (my connector will be in tomorrow so I’ll post a pic of what I received

Awesome deal, now that my work day is over I am going to start the PITA process of verifying all the wire connections and pin locations I have all the parts plugged in on the table, oddly I thought the SD card reader was in the glove box however (like on my old Vette) it's connected to the driver side harness beside the instrument cluster. There are also some taps that I think are used to tie into the GM bus they look east to add connections to. I will take some more pics and detail things out a little bit when I get deeper into this mapping.

The USB cables are intact tied into the harness (excluding the one going to the camera, the cable runs to the A Pillar and it looks like another cable connects at that point to go to the camera) and wrapped tight, does not look like any part numbers are listed on the cables when I get everything broken down I plan to measure each cable to get length that is used.

The connections for this harness is based on the ZL1 harness that I received and the two attached documents, please note all my testing / tone mapping was done from the wire harness connectors I.E the connectors that would plug into the PDR short connectors.

That's correct, however I can not use it on my car I am just using it as reference.
