Just got engine cover carbon fiber dipped

I just got my engine cover carbon fiber dipped. It came out awesome. I added the Camaro emblem on it.

Looks great! I also found the Instagram video clip of it being dipped. What do they charge for that?

Definitely gives the engine bay a little pop, Looks Good.......
Wonder if you could clear coat that to give a really nice shine and way to protect it?

It is cleared... just the angle. Really pops in direct sunlight

After i paid it, he said he under charged at $250. I agree, expect $300-325 going forward. Not including emblem.. and i bought the cheap chrome Camaro badge and put it on.

Thanks for the info! As a result of your post I went around online and learned a bit about hydro dipping today (had never heard of it before). His Instagram videos were interesting to watch and have me thinking about the possibilities.

On a side note (being discussed in another thread) - I see in the photo that your 2020 3LT doesn't have the sound tube. Did it come that way from the factory or did you remove it?

That's the way it came. I do have the 1LE track package, not sure if that has something to do with it.

I’m not typically a fan of engine bay bling. But, I have to admit, that looks a lot nicer than stock.
