www.gmpartsdirect.com for OEM wheels?
All,
I'm in search of new OEM black spokes for my 2013 ZL1 and I came across these via a GOOGLE search. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/22798741 http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/22798743 Has anyone ever used www.gmpartsdirect.com to buy anything OEM? Are they the real deal? Thanks for sharing any experiences, good or bad, with me. Dave |

They are the parts department for a dealership. So yes, they are the real-deal, but shipping is usually pretty expensive.
My recommendation is to always go to your local GM Parts Department and bring them a copy of the printout and see if they can match the price.

Dave, my 69 pace car brother! I didn't know you had a ZL1.
When i bought a second set of OEM wheels, i went to IamGMparts.com. I printed out the price on the wheels. Brought that printout to Radley Chevrolet parts counter and they price matched it. Only add on was the 50.00 core charge, but zero shipping. I cannot speak for other dealers or sites, but this worked for me and I got a great deal on OEM wheels. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, I will try that here at Pohanka and see what happens. Yep, I have the 69 Z-10 and a 2013 convertible and love it but I'm thinking I may want to upgrade to this one! Jeff Gordon drove it yesterday to pace the Daytona 500. |

I have bought a few things thru GMparts direct in the past. They have really upped the shipping to the point to where its no bargain anymore. Great idea on the taking the deal to the dealer.

I've used them for awhile, and they're reliable. A couple of things you should know:
1. They're usually expensive when you factor in the shipping. 2. They will not accept returns on most items (from my memory) unless there is a defect. If you are closer to a dealer then you may want to try ordering from the parts counter.

I've used them and I've had shipping and parts damage issues with them more than once. I'll never use them again.

Contact Maureen ar Rodgers Chevrolet. She's on here and she has great prices shipped and usually ships super quick.

www.cheapestgmparts.com has great prices on most items. I recommend to always shop around as this isn't a perfect system.

I know this thread has kind of gotten of course, but in the spirit of that; does anyone know why when you have a left & a right side for a part that one is usually quite a bit higher than the other? That's always bugged me.
