Drove it. Really REALLY gotta get rid of the OEM Z wheels. With the way the dust builds up, and the number of spokes, it's a pain in the ass to clean up. Time to look at some options.

After installing the splitter last week, put on some taillight black outs.

Was making a right turn at a yellow light and had not one, but two jerkwads try to run me over making a left from the other direction in an attempt to beat the red.
I should get a dashcam for when some moron like that doesn't give me the opportunity to play their game of chicken and just runs right into me.

Been watching out for these specifically after a(nother) clueless SUV driver tried to cut into my lane making a big wide 18-wheeler style left turn for no reason. I tend to let them go first no matter what, because having them in plain sight is better than letting them sneak up from behind and do stupid things. My brakes are better than most other cars anyway.

Installed my new silver shift panel trim cover today over the stock trim piece. It matches the silver trim on the doors pretty well. Hopefully it will fix the issue of my inadvertently changing the drive mode while driving.

Dashcams might help in a civil suit, but won't help for insurance claims. I had a rock hauler dump some gravel down the right side of my 6 month old car (the SS Sedan). The moronic truck driver was driving too fast around a clover while I had the right of way coming through a straight away from the highway that he was trying to get on. He applied his brakes and the gravel he was hauling shifted and a large portion peppered my passenger side. I tried to get him to stop, but the POS knew what had happened and didn't want to stop. Even calling the police (used a non-emergency number), they didn't seem too concerned.

Insurance claim filed and I told my insurance that I had video footage. They didn't care and just stuck me with my uninsured deductible. I even had a license plate number from the trailer, but I guess it was just cheaper for them to stick me with the bill. Kind of disgusting when holding people accountable takes a backseat to how much it costs to do so.

Having said that, I still have a dashcam, but I feel like it's more like the club (if anyone remembers those anti-theft steering wheel devices) and is more for looks than anything.

Installed a sub and amp.

Kicker 12in 2ohm downward firing sub.
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20648C...8CVTDF122.html

Kenwood Excelon X502-1 500w RMS 2 ohm
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_113X50...on-X502-1.html

Also made an attempt at wrapping the door handles. Had some extra black metallic wrap laying around. Turned out ok but I will probably try again to make it look better.

Went to a car show, the first one I've attended since 2019. Huge turnout. Folks really want to get out. Saw a Matchbox Camaro at the show. First one I have seen in person. Lots of cool cars, old and new.
