My son is driving around in a car with burns in it I asked why are their burns. A guy killed himself in it by setting himself on fire.... um nope. And some where out there is a small red truck from my last construction job that the painter took home and blew his brains out all over inside. And some one is happily driving it around not knowing. Ill pas on the used cars :(
This wasn't in the CARFAX???

That's a bit ridiculous? I had my 500 mile oil change done yesterday but my dealer does a lot of work on Vettes & Camaros. They had no concerns about it at all, and GM covered it as my first free oil change. Probably time to go find a dealer that does performance cars regularly.

Yes this dealership was my not first choice but was the closest and had an open appointment. Looking through the reviews on their website, I found at least 3 posts where people reported oil leaks post oil change. Probably just going to do it myself and save my freebie for the 1500 mile mark.

FWIW I didn't bother with my free oil changes after my initial dealership service experiences. Chevy dealers are so awful I'd rather pay someone I know or do it myself.

I would never buy a card that someone smoked in. You can never get the smell out.

The only thing I hated about doing it myself was that it doesn't show up on Carfax as being done. Sure, I could manually enter that it was done but it doesn't look "official".

Wash, detail, wax, and only a very very slight scent of coffee. Think I'll have to pull the seats and get to the carpet to get it completely done.

Hoping to try and get to Cars & Coffee tomorrow a.m. Haven't been to a car show or cruise in I don't know how long.

Dusted it off and put the car cover on it for the next week or so, heading to my semi-annual recurrent training in Dallas tomorrow... Off to 16 hours of ground school and to fly the simulator for 12 hours...

Another thing I don’t miss about flying! I also don’t miss pissing in coke bottles flying all-night single pilot freight in twin Cessnas. There are no rest stops at 10,000’! Although I might like sitting in a G650 going to Tahiti, but not so much Teterboro! Have fun in recurrent!

Sat behind the wheel in my 2SS and watched the Talladega race on the TV in my garage.

It's the little things in life

Thanks! We have 2 lavs in the G600, no Coke Bottles here... It ain't bad at all, but certainly looking forward to retirement in a couple years and playing ball with my dog (Mr. The Dude) and wrench on the Camaro all day long...

Mr. The Dude...
