Mine has been loaded on a rail car. Hopefully it will get to Texas soon and then to me!

It is not the ZL1 A10. Its the same A10 they put in the SS Camaro.

News to me. I read somewhere here on this forum it was the A10 out of the SS. If its out of the ZL1 then thats a plus for sure.

Where’s the evidence that the SS 1LE A10 uses the same transmission as the zl1?

I’m not sure why the ELSD would be relevant to the specific trans selected.

It's the same 10 speed as every other SS. ZL1 has the MI4 10 speed, SS and SS 1LE have MI2.

Thanks, I haven't followed for a while and I know there was speculation that it was the ZL1 A10.

Are the transmissions different performance wise or is the Zl1 just rated for more power?

ZL1 10L90 trans is rated to handle more power than the 10L80 in the SS.

They do get the same 2.85 eLSD as the A10 ZL1 at least (vs. 2.77 that a regular SS auto gets in non-eLSD form).

Thanks! So from a perfomance perspective, there should be no real difference between this trans and the ZL1, correct?
