19x11 ZLE wheels

I was wondering if anyone has ran 285/35-19's on their factory front ZLE wheels instead of the 305's? and if so how was the difference? and if anyone has pics of said tires on the wheels...…..Thanks

Why would someone run such a narrow tire on them?

Really it wouldn't be much different then running 19x10 on all four corners with either a 3 or 5mm spacer up front for daily driving, and with the roads here in Louisiana, the car seems to wander with the 305's up front and the difference between 12 and 11.2 is not much unless you point it out, even if I was, I wouldn't track the car unless I had the stock sizes on to begin with, I even heard about a 295/35 but I don't know how much height is to high without dealing with steering issues such as rubbing and whatnot.

I have 285 30 19 on the fronts and 305s on rears for daily driving they catch less of the grooves on the highway plus they are lighter. If I'm going out I put on 345s on the back. If going to the track 305s re71s all 4 corners

Stretched front tire for steering response... should work. Depends on the tire you choose. All the tire manufactures have different widths of 285/35/19 Some narrower some wider resulting in more or not so much stretch. Stretched tire results in increase steering response and more drive though, parking curb rash.

That has been one of things that I can say that I have never done and that been curb rash, I do have that knack about where I park and how I park, even with my big 3/4 ton RAM.

Well an update to my earlier question, I did put 285/35-19 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's on the fronts and 325/30-19's on the rears, it was a slight stretch but looking down they look flush with the tire but looking at them at an angle they do look kinda weird, but after taking it out on a road trip to Alexandria and back the tires ride better IMO then the Michelin's on my square set up, the car doesn't wander like it did with the 305's and the steering response is much better than having to fight the steering wheel with the 305's, my other option for the fronts is the MRR 716's 19x10.5 et14 in order to minimize the tire stretch but I don't know how the color would match up to the factory wheels.

Can you post a few pictures of this new setup with the Indy 500s? I've been curious about how they look as well...

So what do you think? I may go with the MRR M716 19x10.5 et14 with a 3mm spacer and get the et11 up front plus go with with the 19x11's in the rear and of course 325/30-19's
