I am pretty sure they are tuned differently, so I cant imagine there being no difference.

The manual ss 1le has the elsd but has the ss tremec 6 speed not the zl1 or zle spec tremec 6 speed. It should be the same for the auto, using an ss a10.

It is the same A10 the trucks and Camaro uses, the ZL1 A10 has a higher torque rating than the Camaro/Truck A10 has.

I think the Camaro uses the 10L80E and the ZL1 uses the 10L90E.

I wouldn't bank on it. The 10 speed in the SS has not received the same praises as the ZL1 10 speed.

You can bank on it. I had a 2020 1SS with the A10, and now a 2021 Camaro 1SS/1LE with the A10. Nerve damage in leg made me get rid of 2015 SS/1LE M6, but I have not been disappointed in the automatic. The 10L80 has the same gear ratios as the 10L90 in the ZL1. The only difference is the duty rating. The 10L90 can take more horse power. The shifting is the fastest in the world for a single clutch tranny. I sense no lag, and using the console mounted shifter Seems instantaneous. The tranny rev matches, and has a long list of built in programming to make you think you are in a manual. You can hold the shifter and the car will automatically go to the optimum RPM level. Downshifting is eerily similar to a manual transmission. Throw in line lock, launch control.......

Gear Ratios A10

My 2021 1LE has the ELSD, Chevy cites it as Differential, Electronic Limited Slip. Above is what I have as the tranny gear ratios. Here are the rear gear ratios for ZL1=3.23, SS 1LE= 2.85, SS=2.77

Arrrgggg. Don’t scare me. No nerve damage here, but lots of fun sciatic pain.

Sorry, this is a little confusing, I thought the ZL1 1LE A10 had 2.85 as well. The chevy website only lists 2.77 for the SS A10. No mention of the 1LE final drive.

Correct. ZL1 A10 has 2.85, just like the A10 SS 1LE has 2.85.
