LT/LS 1LE wheel vs 2020 SS wheel weights
I had a chance to weigh my 1LE forged wheels (shown on car) compared with my spare wheels which are 2020 SS silver (picture at bottom, borrowed from sale ad). Since both wheels are identical size and the tires are identical sizes it gave me an opportunity to answer a question nobody probably asked: How do the weights compare between the 1LE LT/LS forged wheels and the standard cast 2020 SS wheels?
Note: All wheels have center caps and TPMS installed. For weighing the tires I used a digital bathroom scale and since they are usually calibrated for higher weights I first weighed myself, then weighed myself holding the wheel, and took the difference to get a more accurate measurement.
I don't have the tools to unmount the tires, but based on research on this forum the tires themselves should weigh... 245/40r20 F1 Asymmetric runflat new weight: 30 lbs 275/35r20 F1 Asymmetric runflat new weight: 32.1 lbs Since the tires on the 1LE wheels are worn the weights cannot be exact, but assuming a generous 1.5lbs of rubber lost should give a ballpark on wheel weight:

Thank you for sharing! And to add to this I've also weighed the stock 18's for our cars. Brand new I got 53 lbs. I believe Tire Rack lists the stock 245/50/18 tire at 26 lbs, so if that's correct then the stock 18" wheel is about 26-27 lbs as well

I just confirmed this with my car. I have a 2021 1LS with the turbo. The 1LT 1LE wheels I bought weighed about 25 lb. for the fronts and 26 for the rears. The stock 18 x 7.5 wheels weigh the same as the 1LE front wheel. However, the stock wheels/tire combo is 5 lb less than 1LE front and 7.5 lb less than 1LE rear and the 1LE tires have more mileage on them. It's a difference I can notice having just swapped wheels for the winter. The biggest weight difference is in the tires and not the wheels. My stock tires are not run flat and two inches smaller in diameter.
