Lol. 100%. My 15 1LE never had any issues at all. It gets hot and humid in the south and it’s never been an issue. Hoping the new ride is the same. Time will tell.

2017 2SS had 2 replaced already. I think the 3rd is going out...
I need to search around and see what others have done to heat shield it...

So whats the fix for this? Has Chevy rigged up so kind of heat shield for the starter? Sounds like a simple fix. Or maybe put a heat foil around the header heating the starter. ����
