Use Stock NPP Actuators with Borla Atak

I see two different sets of Borla Atak exhaust everywhere, and both say “NPP compatible”

For the cheaper ones, can you just transfer the actuators for the flaps to the new exhaust, and the pricier ones just come with new ones? Or does “NPP compatible” just refers to the quad tip style fitting in the stock bumper?

For example, this one says “compatible with NPP”

But so does this, and it’s more expensive with clearly more parts included:

Can I buy the cheaper one and retain my existing valves to still use NPP functionality, or do I have to pay for the set with them included to not lose that?

The less expensive exhaust has quad tips but doesn’t have the NPP valves. If you want to retain the NPP functionality then you’ll have to purchase the more expensive exhaust.

yeah not sure why the cheaper one says NPP when the photo provided doesnt have the piece for the NPP.

what style tips are you going for for NPP atak? i got the carbon fiber ones but i will say the clear coating comes off easy over time.

Thank you both for the clarity! I hadn’t decided on what finish to go with, but based on that feedback I’ll probably stick with the polished ones!

i'm going to end up cutting my tips off and getting black ones put on. before i do that i'm going to see if the paint shop can rescue them before i try that.
