No water draining from AC

I have have my ZL1 a month now and I only saw water on the ground once 2 weeks ago. I have 300 miles and have been running AC every time I drive it but never see water draining. Is this normal. I can drive my truck on same day same weather conditions and it always has some amount of water. Some days more than others

I have never noticed the condensation draining from my 2017 ZL1 either but the a/c works and I use it all the time in the summer months and no issues.

I don't see much either but I did notice a little bit the other day after about a 40 min ride with the AC on. Take notice right after you park from running the AC for a bit. You won't get a hug puddle but enough to know it is draining.

My garage floor has a tiny puddle each time, and the A/C works like a charm. I do turn it off and just run the fan for a couple miles before arrival so that most of the condensation has a chance to thaw and drip onto the pavement instead.

This also airs out the vents to help to avoid the musty smell.

OP, how humid is it in your area? That is a big factor. Although I am sure it is humid where Greg is at. Maybe it is where they run the drip line

It hasn't been as humid the past 2 weeks but the first 2 week after i got the car it was 90's and high humidity. I am in northwest Chicago suburbs. I crawled under yesterday and couldn't find the drain tube anywhere around the firewall or around the trans tunnel which I think where the gen 5s were at.

The drain tubes (or holes) are often difficult to spot under any car these days.
if you don't notice condensate, the first thing to check is the carpet around the front footwells. Probably not wet, but that's where the water overflows if the drain is clogged (unlikely).
next question is whether the A/c is performing adequately. Is it cooling the car? Any noticeable difference between driver/passenger sides when temps are set the same?
If you have concern about A/C performance a good first check (and cheap) is to get a probe thermometer and check your duct temps. Looks like even a modern digital meat thermometer will work. The ones I see on amazon have a wide range, down to even -50!

Yep Fran, it’s been hot and humid here in Georgia lately!

It could be normal but to be safe you may wanna get under there and make sure the drain isn’t clogged. .

I was under it yesterday and can't find the drain tube. Anyone know were it is for the 6th gen? I read somewhere on the gen 5 it was above the trans and is only accessible by drooping the trans?

This thread says it's hidden above tranny (according to a dealer). I can find no specific reference to location in the repair manual. Repair manual just says to make sure the tube is not clogged.
