Goal achieved. 1:29.5

5 seconds a lap faster on average and 4 seconds faster than my PB.

Great job! I'm still on the fence about the BMR Tunnel/cradle brace....not sure how that improves anything...

It’s a feel thing. It’ll make the car feel “tighter”. It simply gave me confidence to push. If you are happy with the feel of your car then you can probably do without it. It helped me to push and drop 5 seconds.

My fastest lap of the day was a 1:29.25. I nearly ended up in the 28s and that’s elite territory (28s and faster). I was definitely the fastest guy out there today and the videos will prove it. Only the guy driving the Norma M30 was faster. My fastest trap speed on the day was 147mph GPS certified running E40.

Humidity was 75% and everyone was slower today. With ideal conditions I would have definitely been in the 28s.

so you added those suspension bits and added slicks for your drop in time?

Please don't get defensive! I am just curious how many sessions you have previously had on that track in that specific car? Were you in the same Camaro on those previous sessions when you had set a PB before? I just find it hard to believe that those suspension bits decreased your times 5 seconds if you were experienced on that track in the same car. That is why I asked if you were running slicks as well. The Delta is really big for just that modification. I could understand it if you were new in the car or at the track and you are also getting much better as you learn the car and track...that makes sense.

I was running Supercar 3R. Slicks have not gone on yet.

With new slicks I would expect to be in the 1:26-1:28 range with no other adjustments.

No worries. I won’t get defensive. Yes, I was here in the same car when I ran a 1:33. The vids are all on my YouTube Channel.

The car may not actually be 5 seconds better but my confidence levels allowed me to push without reservation. The mods helped me win the mental battle. After making the changes, I felt like I could put the car anywhere I wanted. The chassis to me felt leaps and bounds better.

We got to mount the Pirelli Take-offs on the new SM-10 ...no the rims aren't scratched. That's lubricant.
