All the auto plants around Detroit are ringed with concrete barriers now. Looks like the thieves are expanding to the far suburbs. They didn't quite make it back to Detroit, but close!

Hasn't this happened at the Lansing Plant before? Several months ago I recall some vehicles being stolen from a storage lot. Appears GM has some security issues.

this is the third time, the first two times the thieves just happened to steal the cars that were bound for international sales and thus didn't have the OnStar trackers in them. They have not been recovered yet. Many people think the first times were inside jobs. The cars on the lot all have their keys in them so it's just get in and go for the thieves.
