Headliner coming off by the door?

Has this happened to anyone yet? This car is not even a year old. The headliner seems to be pulling away by the rubber stripping on the top of the passenger door.

Common problem. Mine was worse. The whole thing was sagging by the rear window. They replaced it, but some of it is still sagging. I decided to accept it for now.

Mine looks like that.

Yes it bothers me but every time dealer mechanics touch my car they make things worse.

I bet if I took it in they would say it's my fault.

Mine was way less than OP's. Just got it replaced under warranty.

Thanks for the replies. Since I'm off today I'm going to run by the dealer and make an appointment. Would never have guessed that a headliner would pull off at the seam. Thats something that happens to 20yr old cars! Seven years with my Gen 5 SS M6 not one issue. Maybe the Canadians made them better.

So far I've had the trans shudder, fixed by the triple flush. Then the rear diff moan also fixed by two separate fluid changes and now this. And from reading the forum, compared to other owners only 3 issues is not that bad.

Still love the car regardless!

Mine is doing it, I'll have dealer look at it at some point when it's in for something else.
