You pretty much describe me. The one drawback I have with HPE is that they will not disclose any of the details of the various parts they used. No valve train specs, etc. Their work is the foundation of my new Eddie 2.65 build too [although it wasn't specifically intended to be].

And see that is what makes them shady. Why would you not disclose exactly what parts are going into the upgrade? Because if you want to upgrade later on then how can you get the correct part when you have no idea what the specs of that part is?

They can't say it's proprietary because I bet that they are items they are buying, in bulk, from a place like Summit. They do it so that you have to come to them if you do decide to "upgrade".

Do any of the other shops mentioned in this thread do that? Probably not.

The time frame sure probably a long while now since you waited to long. I took my 1000 deposit back last week when they announced the pricing. When I put my deposit down it was projected at 87k base. They offered me sticker so it would of been around 107k and a short wait.

Especially for a shop that has a reputation for swapping parts between cars.

Yea, KaTech, Pray and others do it too. Maybe it makes sense, it's valuable intellectual property.
