Hey jason thinking about doing this exact setup soon, do you have any additional cooling mods done?

Currently working on my friends ZL1
Similar setup, NW103, Rotofab, Kong regular port, flex fuel, stock pulleys. We are seeing the low side dropping slowly in the upper rpm's at E50. We are adding the JMS voltage booster now, should be able to run E60 with the booster, and stock pulleys.

Just added 30% XDI Injectors, LPE big bore hpfp, Flex fuel.
Elite tuning, results coming soon.

I added a 1L tank to make filling the blower with coolant easy. Probably does nothing for cooling, though.

Please post your findings after the booster is added.

My tuner said to keep mine at 50-53%....no more. I am stock except for E85, big gulp cai, and tune. Car gained 10mph on the fastest HPDE course around...Auto club speedway. Went from 160- 170mph.

Good gains indeed. What kind it RWHP/TQ did you see on E50 -53%?

with cai, e85, and tune it was about 70 whp more. Very impressive gain for the amount of money spent! I would have to check exact numbers...I really care more about the extra speed since it is my dedicated track car for now.

Very nice! I need to get on the E bandwagon.

Just finished the JMS voltage booster install on my friends car.
Low- and high side fuel pressure is steady now @ E60, 13psi boost, 0.84 lambda. He is super happy how the car performs now.

I did Jason's tune on E remotely.

We ended up @ E55 @ .83 lambda target. Injectors around 5.6-5.7, rail pressure 27-2900psi. 24 degrees of timing peak.

From his prior 93 pump gas tune on 13.5 psi, we gained about 75-80 hp on E with 12.5psi. The prior tune was rich and timing was really conservative.

I have not seen it pull 1 degree of timing in the log. MAT hover in the upper 130's in the Florida heat. Seems like a solid setup.

Nice work, King. Sounds like you got it squared away.

Targeting a safer AFR(.83-.84) you would probably be limited to E40 which is still going to net you good gains and more consistent power since the spark correction vs manifold temps can be adjusted to allow higher temps without pulling timing.

If you did XDI +30' and a LPE hpfp, you could get up over E60 with a stock pulley.

We are running a Kong standard port with 2.17 pulley on E60 with the fuel system above. Has all the other supporting bolt's...headers, cai, 103mm tb...etc. It made 700/660 SAE on a Mustang Dyno that reads about 5-6% lower then a Dynojet.

And I agree about having somebody tear apart a perfectly well running engine. Which is why I would rather spend money on fuel system to run E over doing a cam and 93. You don't really need a cam to make good power with these engines anyway. Not saying a cam is a bad choice because at a certain point it is definitely needed. But for builds under 800whp it's not. Full bolt's, fuel system, E, Xport or bigger supercharger, will make more consistent power then you will hook on the street without a full drag pack on a prepped surface anyway.

The 1000whp shit is just for internet/local car club bragging rights. I have timing pulled out through the mid range on my brothers H/C 2650 Z06 M7 . It made 900/780 on the same Mustang Dyno with 3 mph of wheel spin. Took 6 pulls, lots of stripper glue, and other tricks to get it from 21mph wheel spin to 3mph. First pulls was 760/780whp spinning. That was with a Hoosier race tire. The thing is nuts and he wants to turn it up more. lol

Thank you!

600-700hp at the wheels is a lot. People forgot just how much power that is to put to the ground.

Porsche’s duff up Camaros with 100hp less. The only place I would actually want more power is mid to top end from 4th to 6th gear. Everywhere else and you’re just spinning. It’s pure madness.

Thanks for the great tune, King! The car is running really well. I’m in Ohio, though. Not Florida.😛
