P&S Paint protectorant
Just started using this product P&S Bead Maker and it is the BEST MOST Hydrophobic sealer I have ever used and it is VERY reasonable. Up until NOW I was using F11 TOP KOAT which is around 250 dollars a gallon (new formula).
AT roughly 40 dollars a gallon BEAD MAKER is more repellant than TOP KOAT and also acts as a dust repellant. I use my California Duster to knock the dust off my BLACK car in between washings and this stuff makes the paint surface VERY SLICK and DEEPER with more GLOSS than what I have seen before. GREAT PRODUCT!!! https://www.amazon.com/Detailing-Pro...dDbGljaz10cnVl

I use it as a topper after a wash. It makes the paint feel slick but in terms of hydrophobics. It’s ehh compared to others like Griots speed shine ceramic detail, or turtle wax seal n shine.
It’s good at giving a deeper look and crazy slick feeling. Bead maker doesn’t last. It will only last about a month before it wears out. F11 is some of the worst shit out there and will wash off after like 1 wash. Pure garbage.

TOP KOAT I agree is NOT that hydrophobic but it is very good at hiding minor surface scratches. I found that TOP KOAT is somewhat a pain in the ass in regards to completely wiping it off as well. I also found that TOP KOAT DOES NOT last and at 250 dollars a gallon, that's not a good thing lol.

I've had excellent results with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant and their newer SI02 sealant. They both have their detail sprays available also. I've been using the Deep Gloss for probably 10-12 years and it never disappoints. I tried the beadmaker and it definitely made the paint slick but it seemed to attract more dust than I'm used to.

if you mix P&S dream maker with Beadmaker at 10:1 it should fix the dusting issues.
10 parts beadmaker to 1 part dream maker

1) never use a California duster unless you prefer micromarring over time
2) f11 is a joke-you were kidding right? It's compete snake oil. Excellent marketing that fooled the masses. Spend 5 minutes on any quality detailers page and you'll see my opinion is not isolated. I know I sound like a dick but take some time to familiarize yourself with quality products from quality detailers like Apex, NYC Ammo, or Pan the organizer.(he's sold out but still has some good videos) PS beadmaker is decent for a drying aid but to use it as a sealant or as an LSP you'd be doing your vehicle a disservice. It has poor longevity and needs to be reapplied often, hence why it's a drying aid. It attracts dust and most of us detailers have moved away from it due to that. |
