I have the barton adapter and an Epco pearl 8 ball in my 18 ZL1.
Absolutely love it.

You guys cost me money... Well, the metal ones are out due to the temperature swings in my AOR, also not sure the weighted ones would be good for the synchros over time. So after two days of adding and deleting items to my shopping cart, I decided on this in black with white graphics. I'll report back with pictures when it arrives.

JCunningham is correct. The stock knob is indeed weighted. However, my EPCO knob is not weighted and I could feel the difference when I first installed it.
But now, after 6 months, I have gotten used to it.

Good info JC and Steve I'm probably overthinking it as usual. I really like the satin TWM (except price $175), also the other aluminum types but ambient temperature swings are a deal killer for me. I drive and ride motorcycles year round on and off road and the aluminum brake and clutch levers pull heat right through gloves I can't imagine a 2" aluminum ball gloveless.
