High Mileage Tires but not necessarily All-Seasons?

I am sure this question comes up a lot and I apologize in advance. However, I can't seem to find a definitive answer as there are so many factors. For starters, I live in Texas, and I don't plan on driving below 40 degrees.

I want something that can last quite a bit longer than the stock Goodyear's. I don't really need winter weather features but I do need it to handle wet roads fairly, not necessarily great but drive-able in rain. I don't plan on taking it to the track but I don't want to sacrifice too much dry grip. Just enough to have a little fun on the roads. I drive somewhat spirited but not too crazy. Rare wheel spin when I am showing off. I don't exactly need run flats but it would be preferred.

I was hoping to stick with some sort of Goodyear Eagles because I was planning on getting "Goodyear Eagle" tire stickers as I love the look. Though it doesn't seem like they make good tires anymore.

I have come across several options:
-CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06
-MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ (TireRack Tire decision guide recommends these)
-PIRELLI P ZERO ALL SEASON PLUS
-FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500
-BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE970AS POLE POSITION
-BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE980AS

Any Suggestions will be appreciated

Your selection/research first three were the same as mine - although the BFG A/S was a contender.

I selected the Michelin PS 3+, have the rears on last week and the fronts go on in a few days when they arrive.

The Conti DWS I dismissed as there was a bit of not-great reporting on them. The Pirelli's do not seem to have a great following in terms of volume users and noise. The PS3+ have great reviews overall.

This is kind of cross posted as I put up some opinions of just having the rears on this week in the rain. I'm happy with them. I did throw a compressor and a bottle of slime in the boot and will dig out some emergency ropes in case of tire issue - a reality out here.

Goodyear F1 runflats are expensive, loud and not repairable as I understand - at $$$$ per tire for poor wet performance - why bother.

In terms of cost the OTD cost for the PS3+ rears installed and mounted w/tax was 550 for the pair. The fronts will be about the same. Since the F1s are still on the original wheels I'll swap them out in summer months and run them out in due course.

I would throw those BFG Comp2 A/S in there.
Great Tire.

Same with those INDY 500s from Firestone.

Dont drink the Michelin koolaid.

Now I've narrowed it to the Continental DWS, Michelin PS 3+, or PS4

Really like the -CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 on my G8GT, and my Mercedes. Quiet, nice ride, great rain tires, no other issues, and they handle in the dry just fine.

Make sure you report back after having driven on them for a bit. I’m going to be in the market for my car when it arrives

I have Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires on my ‘16 SS and really like them. Went with stock size in front 245/40s and 285/35s in the back instead of 275/35 stock size. The 285/35 is about an inch bigger and the speedometer is about 1 mph off according to the Tire Size. Com website.

If u want All Season go with the Mich Pilot Sport A/S 3 plus. If you are willing to give up a little mileage then go with the Mich Pilot Sport 4s. Two weeks ago i put the A/S 3 plus on my 2018 Daytona and last week i put the 4s on my Zl1.

Both ride very well!!

I don't plan on tracking so I don't need all grip, I mainly want life. But I don't want to sacrifice so much grip that I can't have a little fun here and there. Will the A/S 3 plus be a good choice then?

I drive a lot of back roads to and from work and give them a good workout. They handle really well dry and in the rain too.

Still waiting for the PS3+ fronts. Should be this week....

Can say that the rears have resolved stability issue in rain for sure night and day vs the F1's. The rear PS3's do not hook up as well as the F1's.

I have a hard left onto an uphill straight that I tend to hit pretty hard. The stability track engaged yesterday - and that does not happen with the F1's - that said no issues, just a nanny kicking in.

Edit: fronts on this AM. Huge noise reduction and ride is not as jaring.
