It’s just a damn car. Mines been in rain and now with snow tires last winter in the snow. What else do I do, leave a 40K car home and drive a 75K cadillac? Actually we drive both.

The way its been raining on and off here in NYC i dont even think about it anymore, just get the ****er dirty and clean it the next week when no rain is in the forecast. When you first get your car i know how it is, i baby the shit out of it and try my best to not get it in the rain, That faded fast as hell... I just like to keep my glossy black redline wheels looking bling hehe!

Had to do 120 miles today, no way out despite the torrential rains. Wipers at max speed and still periodically struggling to keep the windshield clean. The stock Goodyears held up surprisingly well, little to no hydroplaning at 50-60 mph even when hitting giant puddles and freeflowing rivers on the blacktop (I had hardly any room to maneuver). Of course I kept off the go pedal most of the time like a sorority sister.

Given the choice, I obviously don't prefer this sort of wet and hamstrung experience, but this is a sturdy car, no need to baby it much.

I took delivery Sep 10th. Have driven it 3 hours one way in the rain, round trip. And it's rained everyday now for 6 days.

Driven everyday so far.

No rain for mine. It is a fair weather vehicle only and sets in the garage.

Did the same thing with my GT500.

No regrets either.

No rain, no water, never been washed, dusted yes. Have had it 16 months, just turned 1700 miles. Almost traded it for a 2018 ZL1 today.

Yes, I do. Just drove home from a car show about 25 miles in the rain. I took first in class for GM - 2000 and newer! Had to beat out a bunch of C5, C6 and C7 Corvettes.

Now it's dirty again - time to clean it. It's no garage queen as I have almost 19K miles on it and still looks good enough to bring home some bling.

Driving in the rain

Not if I can help it . The rag top is not my daily driver. But if I get caught out in the rain Then I have to spend a few hours washing her. Which isn't so bad in the end but I would rather not go out in the rain if I don't have to. the reason for having a top down car like the Beast is to have the top down . That's why we bought her for warm sunny days top down wind in our hair and freedom. Nore does she see gravel roads or winter roads .. Yet we still love her when we put the top down and feel the wind . In the end to each there own. Enjoy your ride

Been rained on once. There was a 10% chance of rain, and the pop up shower hit us with the top down on a country road. By the time I slowed enough to get the top latched it had stopped.
Like a lot of things, I like to drive her when she’s topless....

No all convertibles do not channel water in with the window opened like Camaros do.

I’ve had drop tops all my life and this is the only one that has done that.
