***Heads up... The AntiGravity RS-30 (11.5 lb) Batteries are good for Porsches apparently, but not so much for the Camaro Apparently the Gen6's "smart" alternator and the battery's "smart" technology are not on friendly terms (yet). I've been running this battery for about a month with lets say "some issues". I thought maybe it was a learning curve for me going Lithium, but apparently it was not me at all!! ...So, hold off going this route until they (if they) do more R&D in getting their product to work in these situations. Hopefully they do!! I guess they found the problem a little earlier within the Mustang crowd with their alternators. But from what they are saying I was the first Camaro? I have also removed the Antigravity Battery from my signature, hoping not to mislead another down this road. Anyways, hope this helps somebody. Otherwise, it was a nice product!! I would give it another shot in the future if they were to dial in the technologies ***PS. They are refunding my full purchase. So now I'm off to re-visit the current options available for plan "B" I guess.

^^^^ Hey man sorry to hear that.

Another update; It's going on 2 full years now and the same Duracell AGM type battery is currently still in my car. I appreciate all the guys that supported my experiment......and all the negative naysayers can suck it. Lol.

Good info, thanks. Hope I won't need to do anything about a battery for a while.

Cool mod and all, its just not something I would do or recommend with a car that has as many sensitive electronics as a 6th Gen has. Also in the event of a battery failure, its a pain to get these cars unlocked again.

I've been running the AntiGravity ATX20-HD Battery (5.18lbs) that does NOT have the Restart technology and it has been keeping the car and I happy. Scott Schafer (AntiGravity President) and his customer service has been great in making things right.

looks great, how long have you used it?
My first job was rebuilding steam locomotives BTW. I saw the Bigboy come thru Texas, the engines I worked on could fit inside the Bigboy's tender.

End of July/beginning of Aug I got the new and improved replacement battery from them. I ran it till end of Nov at multi track weekends and the strip before going on the maintainer. Only reason for taking it out of the car was the car went in to the dealership for warranty work. The battery will be going back in rather soon (first week of March). That Pic is from visiting a restaurant called "Steaming Tender" near Palmer Motorsports Park that is set in a 19th-century train station. Great unique atmosphere inside and out. We took the photo opportunity back when the car was "new", of the two powerful machines, no relation to my career or hobby.

Here’s the model Antigravity recommends for the 6th Gen Camaro:
https://antigravitybatteries.com/pro...tive/ag-h6-rs/

I ordered the 40 AH version just to be on the safe side. It has the built-in run flat protection too. Still a huge 30 pound weight savings as well.
