I agree.

I'd like to see it revealed during the 50th celebration, but I think it will be done at the Detroit auto show.

I would agree but I don't think any of the 6th gen cars were revealed at a major show.

The can be no bigger stage for the Z/28 reveal than the 50th Anniversary Camaro party at the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise. Remember we are talking about the most revered Chevrolet Camaro moniker. Auto shows reveals are for upgrades to bmw's and non-muscle car new models. The Dream Cruise venue has a huge muscle car buyer appeal and the new Z/28 with ZL1's and the 1LE models on display would be a frenzy. I am trying to get to the Dream Cruise but with the massive flooding here in Louisiana I don't think I can get away this week. Please post many pics for our viewing pleasure!!

That's what I thought but Cadillac just announced it is going to reveal a new concept car tomorrow. I doubt GM will reveal the Z/28 the same time Caddy reveals a concept it has no intention of producing.

Even though they are both GM products, I don't think these two cars are remotely related. Not to belittle Caddys as I think the CTS-V's are awesome, but my father will not be at the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise and he would never consider buying a Z/28. He'd show up at a dealership to look at one months after they show up on the dealer lots. Let's see how Chevrolet reveals what I hope to be a real special 50th Anniversary Camaro. This only happens once in our lifetimes!!!

Of course he didn't. They don't discuss future products.

If youre Gm do you even bother badging a Z28 when there are still a bunch of 2015's to be had throughout the US?

Yes. They are establishing the Camaro as something more than just a straight line car. It's going to take time for that image to change.

Well, the Caddy had it's big concept reveal....still a couple of days to go for the Camaro event...

Maybe still an outside chance of a Z/28 reveal for a 50th anniversary? A big grand finale perhaps??

(I hope so!)...No Z/28 for the fiftieth anniversary would be a sad story of an opportunity gone to waste....

They still have one video to unlock for the celebration so we have a slim chance of seeing the Z/28 still.

The internal memo's we saw before did state that 8/20 was the date for the next bit of info, whatever that might be. Personally, I am hoping for another Z car reveal. Dodge revealed two new "models" in the Challenger TA and Charger Daytona this week, why not Team Camaro's turn tomorrow?
