LPT...
Don't go for a cruise immediately after watching Ford vs Ferrari. Especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust and the weather is cool enough to have the windows down.
Just saying. |

That was a great movie, very sad ending but one of the best movies I have ever seen hands down. Standa up there with the fast and furious franchise for me!

Excellent car movie, and a great overall story as well. Not crazy over the top overly fake like some of the car based movies

Agree! Great movie! I had that itch for some "spirited" driving during and after that movie for sure!

What a coincidence. I was watching an episode of Caffeine and Octane last night. They had a magnificent early 60's Ferrari 250. Turns out it was the car that was used to record the sound of the Ferrari for the movie. The guy who did the sound editing for the movie received the Oscar!

I had low expectations for that movie at first but was incredibly surprised at how awesome it was. Loved the part where the told him that Mustang sucked and to get a real car like a Chevelle. He was totally right for that time period.

Jay Leno knew Carroll Shelby and had Matt Damon on his Leno's Garage after the movie came out. He asked Damon if he'd ever met Shelby and he said no. Because Leno said the movie was pretty accurate to the way things really happened and Damon did a great job of playing Shelby.
