Corsa NPP

Anyone have the Corsa NPP exhaust yet? Wondering how much of a difference it is over the stock NPP and if it changes a lot from open to closed.

I'd like something a little louder than what the car is now, so I figured I would pair it with their double X as well. Thinking of doing the Corsa X with the Flowmaster too, but I really like the look of the black tips on the Corsa system, not to mention the 304SS not the 409.

I leave it open all the time now so if it does get a lot louder then I figured it would be nice to have something that would quite down when I'm in the neighborhood.

I heard a couple guys were having issues with the valves. There is another thread about the Corsa NPP floating around here somewhere.

Corsa will ship you a new muffler if it does break. The new actuator valve is spring loaded instead of just "loose".

Do you have the Corsa NPP? I'm very interested in getting the Corsa NPP w/black tips. How is the sound? Is it deeper than stock?

I'm currently looking between the Borla S-Type and the Corsa NPP.

I have it on order. I already have the "Mild 2 Wild" installed on fuse 52. From the few guys that I have messaged with say its worth it. Wide open throttle is 12db louder, in a nice American hotrod way. They also said cruising sounds were much quieter on the highway. I have yet to hear bad about it.

Please keep us updated after you get it installed. I'm considering the purchase as well and would like to get your thoughts, videos would be great too!!

I emailed Corsa with questions about the sound level of their NPP compared to stock, here is their response

Quote:
Reference: SKU: 14789BLK - I am interested in this product for my 2021 Camaro LT1 w/NPP, I understand the variability goes from 'Sport' to 'Extreme' sound levels and is a +12dB difference between Sport and Extreme. Do you all have the dB change from the stock NPP to the Corsa NPP system with valves open and closed? Any information or assistance is much appreciated.

Stock NPP closed – 91.3 db

Stock NPP open – 94.0 db

Corsa closed – 97.5 db

Corsa open – 108.4 db

I have had issues with the valves tho but usually removing the valve fuse and reinstalling. has fixed it. sometimes in tour they wont stay shut when youre at idle, which can be annoying

How would you describe the sound difference? I'm getting a sizeable bonus and plan to use part of it on the Corsa NPP.

In tour/stealth its very similar to stock tour/stealth

Sport I dont really use because I find the valves open and close too much so I use track, but sport/track sound a lot louder than stock, but similar sound/tone to stock, just a lot more noise.

I have some videos of it on insta @joey1ss

Ohh awesome, I'll have to follow you then. My hope was that the stealth mode wasn't "eliminated" by volume.

I pinged corsa for their dB ratings a while back i can repost those, is it deeper rumble?

I think the sound in sport and track is very similar to NPP but louder, maybe barely deeper. stealth is just like stock stealth and same with tour. which is exactly what I was looking for
