yeah I have never figured out what the smell is....peppermint maybe?, but it's great for your "pleather" and plastic.One product does the whole interior....I have used on my tires, but amour all extreme is better in this situation....

personally I like 303 upholstery sealant, cleaner, and protectant. I have been using this combination for years and the protectant you end up just redoing before it wears out. The cleaner and protectant I use on every thing except cloth and carpet. cleaner used on any surface.

Try this product out too. Had very good results with it. Prima Nero Vinyl, Rubber & Plastic Protectant.

As for a cleaner ... I use Final Inspection interior cleaner for all surfaces.
