I’m sure some of you have seen my story. Ordered a car all the way back in May. Finally got it to 1100 after months of the dealer basically refusing to submit the order. I was informed they got an allocation on 9/4 and was told my order was 2000 status on 9/7. Talked to the chevy help line today and they gave me a TPW of 9/27! Couldn’t tell me my status code for whatever reason though. So am I just hopeful that I may see this car before the dead of winter? I do see some people don’t even have 21s yet so I feel like it’s not likely I’ll see my 22 any time soon but with that tpw I have some hope that im wrong. Just praying it doesn’t end up sitting chipless getting crapped on by birds for months! 🙏🏻

If you go to the Chevy website and click on the messenger icon you should be able to chat with someone live and say you want the status code and TPW and they will give it to you (assuming it's actually that far along). You have to make sure to click through the automated BS until you get a prompt saying they will get someone to chat with you. As far as getting hopes up, who knows. Some 22s that were built in August are starting to arrive before many 21s. Good luck.

I got my tpw from that chat but they said they did not have access to my status code. Said the same thing last time too so I asked joe. They used to tell me the code no problem.

Chevrolet chat would not give me the status code either, at least you have a TPW

Interesting, they just gave me mine this morning and have each time I've asked the past few weeks.

Go to that top pinned thread. There is a form response to Chevy asking what you want, that says your email address and so on. I got lazy and copy and pasted that and filled in my info. Now every time I contact Chevy via chat I just past that in and I they give me my status code every time because it says specifically i want the status code. Might try that next time.

22_1le this should work. You have to be sure you aren't just putting your order number in and following the standard prompts because then you'll just get an automated response. If you type stuff like the above it will force a representative to respond.

My order was just allocated last week as well. I asked Joe to check my status earlier today, just to independently verify 2000 status and was very pleasantly surprised when he reported I was at 3000 status with a TPW of 10/4!

Obviously the chances of my car actually being built that week seem slim with downtime the next two weeks; I assume they just bump everything back, so 10/19 may be more realistic? Either way it is progress after 6+ months of waiting.

From what I hear the camaros and some cadillacs are not scheduled to come offline (yet atleast). I have no idea when to even think to expect my car with the tpw of 9/27… uncertain times. Part of me thinks it could be here before winter but the other part of me figures it’ll sit for a long time after being built like the 21s with no chips… time will tell, good luck!

Unfortunately JoeP@teambeckyd over on the order status thread said yesterday that it was announced the plant was going to be completely idled the next 2 weeks.
