I haven’t had any problems with mine. Was yours pre-painted from GM or did you have it painted?

I would just sand it down and respray it. I haven't painted mine yet since my car is gray and you can't really tell it's unpainted unless you look for it. But when I do paint it, I will be spraying it myself.

You can buy AC Delco branded aerosol cans with your exact paint matched for like $20-25 a can or just have some mixed at a shop that can put it in a spray can for you, unless you already have a compressor and gun of your own. Follow that up with some quality 2K clear and it should last another 10 years. The clean up and sanding will be the most crucial part for a quality recoat. With parts like this, prep is the key for proper adhesion.

I can't tell which red shade you have. If you have the Victory Red it should be a relatively easy self fix, but if it's Red Jewel Tintcoat...that may be a PITA since its a tri-stage paint I think. Another option of course is to just have a shop respray it. You have any other parts that need a respray?

GM does sell RJT in a spray can and I have purchased 2 cans of it already for doing minor color matches to trim pieces and it matches up pretty good, and a good clear over it.

That's from contamination in the air lines or on the part due to poor paint prep. Totally the shops fault. Also most paint companies offer lifetime warranty so don't let them take anymore money. I would avoid that shop in the future. Sloppy work.
