I don’t remember having to do a single cut, honestly... AWE does a nice job with their catback system design, it was pretty painless.

In regards to removing the secondary cats, the only way it would not pass emissions, is if you live in a state where they are looking for FOUR cats (California?). The secondary cats are not monitored by the ECM and removing them does not set a code.

What is the point of them then?

It's a one size fits all thing, secondaries are for states that have tighter emissions laws.

So I took the car out for a drive through the country yesterday. 120 miles around Northern Virginia (back roads north and west of Leesburg). The car sounds amazing with the top down. I really couldn’t be happier.

Seeing your thread makes me want to pull the trigger on the Touring Edition ASAP. Do you go to any of the local meet-ups? Would love to see and hear the exhaust in person.
