old people come from a time where playing with your car was normal.
Pretty soon you'll have old people who listen to rap and techno and know what assembly is. I usually get thumbs up from old guys. There are two groups of people who still like the camaro. 40-60 year old men and 2-9 year old boys. everyone else is an outlier. |

The AWE is really not obnoxiously loud just idling. For reference:
I'd say that guy was just a grumpy old man. What kind of self-respecting old dude doesn't like the burble of a V8? |

Am old man myself and I still love the sound of a V8 blurble at idle. What i cant stand is the kids with the noisy 4 cylinder cars

Sometimes it's funniest or feels best to agree with someone like that: "Oh, thanks for letting me know. It is kinda loud. You have a good day now."
When I respond to provocation like that (I don't always have the patience to), it leaves me feeling better - the other person didn't get to me, and I took control to redirect the situation in a positive direction. Start flexing that skill and it grows like a muscle. Then you can use it with people you're closer to, avoid getting in a big fight and you both end up treating each other better. |

not to derail the thread... but cars in the late 60's all looked the same
throw a google search up of 69 camaro, 69 nova, 69 mustang and you get a bunch of cars that might as well be the same exact brand. the 69 corvette was cool looking, the pony cars were boring as dirt. |
