Polish and Wax on new clear coat
I just had a couple of door dings taken out and fixed by my body shop. How long should I wait to polish and wax the new clear coat? I have a spot that needs to be buffed out some more.

Yup , the longer the better, I wait 30-60 days. Ask the body the shop how they cured the paint. If they baked it on, it can be shorter, but to cover all the bases, I would wait.

Was there any painting involved?

Yes, they painted the door and quarter panel with color and clear to blend it in.

At least 30 days, but the longer the better. I wouldn't even risk touching the paint enough to wash it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the advice. I thought between 30-60 days.
