Yep, me too. When driving mode disappears, the lighting also doesn't allow changes. Pretty certain its a software bug verses voltage.

I'm wondering if its related to remote starting the car. I'm fairly certain I remote started the car when I get this issue (but it doesn't happen every time I remote start the car).

I have had this happen... I thought it was because I was in valet mode... that was not the case. It came back in 15 minutes.

This also occurred with mine. I believe this only happens during a remote start. Feel free to confirm.

I will check this out. Once we find a way to replicate the issue, the dealership should be able to help. As long as it isn't random, it is a much easier thing to show my maintenance staff.

Just checked remote start. I still have all my options in the settings. Wasn't it.

Not a factor, I have a 6MT, no remote start, and it happens to me too.

Current setup: 6MT, NPP, Fuse 51 pulled. No MRC.

I don't think anything about the car's configuration or accessories has anything to do with it, I think it's just another legit software bug that needs to be addressed and probably hasn't been discovered yet by GM.

I had this happen, but thought maybe it was because I was driving over a certain speed limit or something. Happened to me once so far.

Not on mine. Happens right from start up in some cases. Didn't show up today, though.

Happens to me every time i start the car in the morning with the remote start and let it warm up while I finish getting ready. Does not show back up until i come out after work. sucks because I leave for work at 430am and before I shut down at night I put it in stealth so it will be a little quieter for the neighbors. then I'm stuck unable to change it back when I'm at a light with a POS Mustang next to me. :(

I think you're on to something... I tired to remote start my car and the option was also gone. a Normal start and it is always there.

This was driving me crazy during the test drive and for about a week after I got the car. I found it pretty quickly on the first car I looked at but then while test driving another one neither myself or the salesman could find it, eventually it showed back up and I thought we just overlooked it. I ended up buying a different one and noticed the same behavior. I haven't had it disappear on me for a few weeks now but I haven't really been playing with it as much either so it's entirely possible I just haven't noticed.

When mine disappears, the interior lighting also can't be changed and the volume knob won't work but the steering wheel volume control will....
