Just throw this out there— what about old school: Supertrapp muffs? Adjustable noise level and track proven for decades. Don’t know if they would fit the rear openings though.

I really like this idea! Either this Gibson muffler or some X flow muffler could be used to fab a custom X pipe, as long as one of them will fit.

Based on my limited research, the Gibson seems to have the smallest packaging for a dual 3" inlet / 3" outlet muffler. The plan I'd have would be ridc but something like

I don't have any driving videos. and no sound clip videos of latest setup as of yet. All I have is the factory stock video clips and then the Borla S-Type Cat back with secondaries deleted video clips. Good plan. That should keep noise levels down with headers and leave no worries of a cat melting down as you build power.

This is essentially where a 3" X flow dual inlet Gibson or Magnaflow would go. I would probably try that first, then add the resonators.
