Can you remind me of the fuse #?

Thanks.

I have the rattle/buzz, happens right around 2k RPM. The dealer ordered me a whole new exhaust system, and told me it's a new part number that supposedly does not have the issue. They're installing it today, will update you guys when I get it back.

Thanks. I pulled the fuse, no more rattle. It basically sounds like Track mode all time, which is fine until we get a real fix. The buzzing drives me nuts.

Also, no drone at highway speeds with the A8, AFM valves kick in and it is quiet.

I am getting my whole exhaust replaced as well. They ordered last Tuesday, so if I had to guess it is the new part as well. How long did you have to wait for it to be delivered from your original order date?

Took mine to the selling dealer recently and the service guy said he didn't hear a thing. I hopped in the car with him, put the seats down, turned off the radio and the A/C. After a few minutes, he heard it. He said he never heard of any complaints about it. I said, now you have. He found no service bulletins or anything, but noted it in system. I'll be taking mine to the dealer near where I live for further investigation.

It took about 6 weeks for the new exhaust to arrive, but I was told there was a delay while they were working on producing the new part number. So hopefully they're being produced faster now and it won't take that long for you.

My new exhaust is installed but the car is still at the dealer because they're also replacing the differential. It was making groaning sounds and GM recommended to replace it. I know, I'm having such great luck with this car... should have it back next week and will give you guys an update.

Love the car without the fuse!!!! I didn't have a rattle before or after i pulled the fuse but ill tell ya, the NPP is a blast with the valves open all the time and no drone as well on the highway ect. I could care less about the modes to close the valves at this point but feel your pain as the buzzing or rattle should be null...

I feel the same. This fuse pulled mode is actually my favorite. On an A8, we have AFM NPP valves so we never get drone on the highway anyway. They should just change the programming logic for Track to mean "always open" even during light cruise, etc.

On and off.... I don't know what conditions bring back the rattle, but it's there.
Started around 1,500 miles I think.
At first, I thought something was rattling inside the vehicle. Later, I noticed it was coming from passenger side muffler.

It's not rattling now, and don't know when it will start again. (just noticed yesterday, when I took off hard and went over 4,500RPM, weird sound was coming from same area, but the rattle didn't stay when I let off)

I noticed that the rattle is occurring more frequently regardless of drive mode. Sounds like I am dragging tin cans behind the vehicle.

Just about to break the 1,500 mile break-in period.
