Also installed the clutch petal assembly and replaced the dash and well as the engine wire harness( engine did not need to be replaced but o well) Had the ECU and bcm reprogrammed at dbr high performance in spring hill Tn. if you want a manual buy a car that was born that way.
alot of people do ls3 conversions on the L66/A6 that in it's self is kinda costly especially if you pay for labor. my 2011 ls3 27k mile 2ss/rs got totaled and within a week with a push from someone here i found a 27k mile 2012 L99/A6 2ss/rs same color. i think it's nicer than my last one and it was 1500 less than the pay off of the wrecked car. the M6 was fun but i think with a ls3 conversion on a auto car is the way to go. just my 2 cents. i have had both. the tr6060 can have it's own issues with second gear grind my car had it and that costs as much as a ls3 conversion to fix. remember the grass is always greener..... and no matter how hot she is someone somewhere is tried of her..... |
