New 1LE rotors

Yesterday I had new rotors installed on my 2020 2SS 1LE by my local dealer. They replaced them on warranty but I noticed these new rotors are slotted. I know the original rotors aee part #s23142500, 23189768. They replaced them with 23245480 and 23245481. I'm I good with these? Or should I be getting the dealership to install original 1le rotors? Can't seem to find anyone with these on their 1le's.

Top ones are what they threw on. My question is, are they good to stay on or should I get them to put the oem 1le's on? Thanks

Someone posted a breakdown of the different brake options on here, as long as the dimensions for the two shown options are the same I'd imagine you're fine. If diameter differs I'd be worried

I am wanting to get it on the track this year. They are opening a track near Calgary in the spring. Probably only track the car a couple times just to experience it.

I'd bet that parts availability has something to do with why the dealer used that rotor.

I have the slotted rotors on my car..they work just fine. Besides, they are more expensive than the other. I would just go with it if I were you.....

The slotted rotors are what's on my C7 Grand Sport. I was surprised the ones on the ZL1 are not. You should be fine with those.

My experience with tracking Corvettes and Mitsubishi Galant VR-4s, I found the slotted rotors superior to plan rotors as they allowed an escape route for hot gases not to mention pad dust. Drilled rotors tended to crack under hard use. Cast holes rotors seemed to work well, although not superior to slotted rotors. Just my experience and observations from 20+ years of track experience.

How did you get rotors replacement under warranty ?
If the dimensions are the same then you are good to go, might have slightly more pad wear with slotted but better for track.
